Worked with M/s Denholm Ship Management (Glasgow), U.K and Barber Ship Management (U.S.A.) as sailing Master

From 2007 to 2016 worked in core group of the then Chief Minister Sri. Narendra Modi (Present Prime Minister). Was in charge of Vibrant Gujrat Summit (Shipping Division) in 2009. Organised signing of MOU's with National and International Shipping Companies: Initiated participation of Indian Expertise in East Africa Countries.  

Worked with Maharashtra Maritime Board as Chief Ports Officer. The job involved management & control of entire traffic of  non-major ports of Maharashtra, Port development along coast of Maharashtra, controlling authority for all shipping rules and regulations of non-major ports, looking after inland water transportation, passenger services and amenities, In-charge of all  assets, plots, -warehouses and land bank. As a DGS panel member, formulated RSV rules for inland water vessels. 

Worked as an Advisor with AYANA MARINE, looking after Chartering, Trading, Port development, Project Cargo movement and Cargo Logistics.

Worked as an Advisor to MTDC. Looking after Tourism Development of Maharashtra.

Worked with Ambuja Cement Ltd, as an Advisor, Coastal Business Strategy and Supply Chain Department at their Head Office, Andheri East, Mumbai, Looking after port and business development, coastal business Strategy, and Supply Chain, road, rail and sea logistics on pan India basis for Ambuja plants.

M/s. Varun Shipping Co. Ltd., as Manager Marine in operation and commercial dept. from July 1990 to July 1992 handling chemical and product tankers

Worked with Enron Power Project (Project Division) looking after Project Cargo movement from Mumbai anchorage to Project Site at Dabhol as consultant.

Worked with Container Movement & Transport Ltd. (Mumbai) (J.M.Baxi Group) as Operation Manager, planning container movement from Nhava Sheva- Mumbai to U.K. Continent.

Worked with M/s. Chowgule Steamship Ltd., Bombay as Senior Manager (Coastal Commercial) Job required commercial management and chartering of coastal vessels of carrying cement and clinker.

Planned the safe passage and channel for Reliance Kakinada to the refinery jetty. Supervised the construction of the jetty as per refinery requirement.

Worked as General Manager (Projects) with Urmila Project Services (Mumbai), looking after turnkey contract for ODC project cargo movement from Vessel to Project Site from Kakinada to Yanam (Godavari River.

Overall Capt.Yateenkumar P. Deulkar has vast experience covering the entire spectrum of Maritime Business, from being a sailor to  Managing, Advising and Supervising large projects with distinction in various capacities.

Currently Capt.Y.P.Deulkar is Principal with a MTI approved by D.G.Shipping in the suburbs of Mumbai.
